What YATB does

Natural translations

AI translation that understands the conversation: slang, gaming terms and short replies come out right. If a service fails, the next one takes over.

Keeps Discord formatting

Bold, lists, quotes, spoilers, emojis, mentions and links stay intact. Real code is left untranslated.

Mirrors the conversation

Replies, edits, deletes and threads are mirrored to all linked channels. Announcements from followed channels are translated too.

Privacy by design

No message texts are stored. Every member can choose that their messages are only translated on our own server.

Your keys, your budget

Server admins add their own API keys in a private form. Keys are stored encrypted and are never shown again. Limits and budget warnings included.

Always a translation

Without any keys, YATB translates with LibreTranslate on our own server - free, and nothing leaves the server.

How it works

  1. Admins link channels - for example #english and #deutsch - into one bridge.
  2. Members just write in their language. No commands needed.
  3. YATB posts the translation in the other channels within a few seconds.

Can I add YATB to my server?

Not at the moment. YATB is a private bot and only runs on selected servers. If YATB is already on your server, see the guides for members and for admins.
